That unraveling gave me the space to create Enjoy Expansion—a community and resource hub for women navigating:

  • Burnout recovery and identity rebuilding
  • Neurodivergent motherhood and emotional regulation
  • Intuitive daily routines that support rather than suffocate
  • Spiritual practices grounded in real life, not perfectionism

Why I Share This Work

I don’t speak from theory—I speak from lived experience. I’ve walked through burnout, questioned every measure of success I once chased, and rebuilt a life that feels more expansive and aligned. I know the grief of letting go of an old identity, the frustration of trying to parent differently without a roadmap, and the courage it takes to choose rest, intuition, and soul over hustle and performance.

That’s why everything I create—whether it’s a blog post, a ritual guide, or a product—is designed to offer tools, reflections, and encouragement that are real, grounded, and sustainable. No toxic positivity. No Pinterest-perfect ideals. Just truth, growth, and expansion.

A Space for You

If my story resonates with you—you’re not alone. Enjoy Expansion is here as both a mirror and a map. A reminder that healing isn’t linear, and rebuilding an identity after burnout or motherhood takes time, grace, and community.

I’m Cheryl Avila—founder of Enjoy Expansion, a lifestyle and wellness brand born out of collapse, healing, and the messy beauty of rebuilding. I’m a neurodivergent mom of two, a former nurse and clinical educator, and a woman who knows firsthand what it means to hit burnout, face identity loss, and slowly stitch life back together with more truth, soul, and freedom.

For over a decade, I worked in healthcare leadership—mentoring others, managing teams, and giving everything I had to a system that didn’t support mothers, neurodivergent people, or emotional wellbeing. The weight of invisible labor at home and relentless productivity at work eventually pushed me into a full nervous system collapse and an ego death that cracked me wide open.
